Pied PiperGiants missed an opportunity to get FS Downs at #5. I know Reese is the super-athletic Swiss army knife but he's not great at any one area. That's why the Jets passed on him at #2 overall. Downs was, according to Nick Saban, the best true freshman he ever coached at Alabama, then Downs transferred to Ohio State (after Saban left) to become a 2-time All American. Downs was the better pick at #5 but the media won't say it.

Ad AgencyArizona getting RB Love is a good pick. He's a Pro Bowler by year 2. Problem is that their defense is horrific so you had 3 tremendous defensive players available at #3 (Reese, Downs & Styles). They'll probably get a Saquon-Giants outcome with this pick (1300 total yards for 5 straight seasons) but will be picking top-7 for 5 straight seasons too.

FAFONot sure I understand WTF the Rams were doing at #13. They passed on DE Rueben Bain Jr, TE Sadiq, and Puka clone WR Lemon. Unless they know Stafford is hurt or might not play 12 games, they're betting on a QB with 15 career college starts. Simpson is a very good QB it's just shocking that early. The Jets, Btw, killed it.
