Notable Inclusions and Placement Debates

Better Call Saul appeared at number 27, but many argued it should be ranked much higher, with some believing it surpasses Breaking Bad. "Better Call Saul too low, arguably better than Breaking Bad."r/hbo

Game of Thrones ranked 6th, leading to controversy due to its final seasons. Readers pointed out the discrepancy between its early seasons' quality and later decline.

True Detective (Season 1) made the list as a standalone entry at number 35, a decision some found "hilarious" but others defended due to its distinct narrative.

Controversial Exclusions:

The Sopranos was excluded because its premiere was in 1999, just outside the 21st-century cutoff, despite much of its run occurring within the eligible period.
